Youtube Rant

Ok, so recently, some videos that I voice acted in have been removed from Youtube due to "terms of use violation" according to whoever removed them.  It's not like they were posted under my account or anything, but I was very proud with how they turned out.  I just don't get what's so wrong with fandubbing a scene of a cartoon or anime you like.  The only "copyrighted" material that's shown is the video, but not the audio.  It doesn't make sense because, if someone just watched the video itself with no audio, they wouldn't have a clue as to what's going on.  People like me just add our own voices in there to both test out acting and impersonation skills, as well as to provide entertainment.  While I'm on this subject, I should also rant about anime licensing companies combing the internet looking for anywhere their licensed materials are posted without their consent.  I know there are millions of people, just like me, who watch anime online like this to see if we like the series.  This is so we don't waste money.  If I like a series and want to watch it again, then I'll buy it, just like when I watch TV.  So in conclusion, to all you licensing and copyrighting know-it-alls out there, give us normal people a break.  We don't mean, nor have we ever meant to cause any harm by this, and we aren't causing harm.  You know this, and yet you still try to impede us.  Do everyone a favor, and go pursue some real criminals.
